The new team installed at Harper’s Bazaar Italia continue to find their footing. It was back in late 2024 that Massimo Russo was named editor-in-chief (having succeeded Daria Veledeeva). Stefano Tonchi became editorial director and Paul Sinclaire was appointed fashion editor at large. The magazine which relaunched in 2022 is now onto Issue #17. For February 2025, the Harper’s Bazaar Italia bestow upon us a plethora of covers. Valerie Scherzinger and Libby Bennett pose for Glen Luchford on the first three covers. Craig McDean photographs Karolina Spakowski for the fourth cover while Julia Nobis reunites with Willy Vanderperre for the fifth cover offering. For the fifth and final cover, Paloma Elsesser poses before the lens of Szilveszter Mako.

“Wow, now THIS is a real high fashion story,” commended vogue22.
“This is more Vogue Italia than Vogue Italia itself,” applauded pradn. “Love the black and white Valerie Scherzinger cover so much!”
Overindulgence commented: “When did Harper’s Bazaar Italia step their game up like this? I have to say that Glen Luchford editorial is stunning. I love it when Luchford centers his narrative in/about Los Angeles. I would love to own this issue just for that alone!”
“Absolutely loathe the Bazaar Italia strategy of turning just about every fashion story into a cover. Select one strong cover image (like those from Glen Luchford here) and stick with it. So unnecessary!” voiced vogue28.
