Christian Dior Fall 2025 Collection Review

The Fall 2025 season of Paris Fashion Week is officially a-go, with the fashion pack looking toward Maria Grazia Chiuri at Christian Dior to kick-start the 9-day extravaganza. Rumors continue to circulate the industry that the Italian designer is set to step down as the creative force behind the fabled French fashion house, with Jonathan Anderson already poised as a successor. Earlier today, Maria Grazia Chiuri presented the Christian Dior Fall 2025 collection within the Tuileries Garden. MGC’s latest lineup ultimately drew inspiration from the gender-crossing character of Orlando from Virginia Woolf’s eponymous novel. Chiuri also revisited the archives for the lace-heavy collection, particularly the collections of Gianfranco Ferré and John Galliano. Models emerged from backstage, to parade through a dramatic set by Robert Wilson featuring meteorites and icebergs.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Looks like a funeral procession.” [liberty33r1b]

“Wow this show is bad. So sad and this music and the flow was just really limp. Girl you work for Dior! Give us something!” [Norden]

“I honestly can’t find one good thing to say about this collection. Repetitive, derivative, boring.” [AnaD]

“I feel bad for the people who have to attend Maria Grazia Chiuri’s shows, I’d fall asleep for sure.” [svpernova[

“Her shows are excruciating. I have no patience and cannot watch them. She always has to inundate us with some overly intellectual performance to make up for her lack of design capabilities. I am counting down to her exit!” [Salvatore]

“What a torture to watch.” [disco54]

“There’s a disconnect between the clothes, presentation and music. It feels like all different elements that were the decision by different people, no coherence or message. The clothes always look good in the stores, but the shows make no sense.” [donyan]
